Facing Freedom debuts teaser at the 2013 Care For Aids Gala!
Care for AIDS unveiled 100 portraits from Freedom's Face to Face initiative this week to a crowd of eager donors. The portraits painted on disgarded library books were auctioned off to raise money for CFA and its programs abroad. Programs that help adults living with HIV and AIDS reclaim their lives and care for their families.
Freedom's artwork was met with great admiration and we were flooded with stories from others who had volunteered with Care for AIDS, about how the experience changed their lives. The cast and crew of Facing Freedom the Film were honored to have the first teaser debut and the feedback we received was amazing. We thank everyone for their kind words and hope to continue our journey into creative activism.
